The following is an "in a nutshell" clarification of what membership of GB Stamp Auctions provides.

Please note for an introductory period the "SELLER VERIFICATION" fee will be just £1 and remain as such during the initial advertising campaign in the philatelic press.

Registration is FREE and remains free for those who just wish to browse or buy.

For those who wish to make full use of the sites selling facilities there is a "SELLER VERIFICATION" fee. Currently £5 per 30 days.

This fee provides access to all the selling features and includes:

FREE listing of items whatever their value

NO commission or final value fee whatever value of item

FREE relisting. Can be automated to relist up to 10 times

NO reserve fee

FREE images up to 10 per item

FREE store holding up to 500 items. Fully customisable by seller

MULTIPLE SELLING FORMATS (Auction, Dutch Auction, First Bidder Auction, Buy it Now, Make an Offer, Swap Option)

FULL versatile and comprehensive INVOICING facility

MULTIPLE SECURE ONLINE PAYMENT gateways available. No obligation to use any.

The site is primarily aimed at discerning collectors who have good quality material they wish to dispose of and who wish to avoid the high commissions and fees charged by other online auction sites and organisations. The specialised nature of the site ensures that the seller will be able to promote their items to an equally discerning group of buyers. The site also makes it economicaly viable to sell low priced items.

Although primarily aimed at providing a service for collectors members of the philatelic trade are welcome to use the site on the same terms and fee structure.

For those who wish to have a slightly "premium service" for a negligible fee the following are optional:

A Featured Store holding up to 1000 items for an additional £1 per 30 days

A Feature Promtional Store holding up to 5000 items for an additional £2 per 30 days and for which I will promote the sale of better items through the site newsletter.

All fees are paid online through the members account created on registration.

IMPORTANT

Once 30 day subscription expires members account and store will remain dormant until renewal fee paid. Members do not have to pay fee immediately renewal becomes due so can tailor their use of the site and do not have to pay for extended periods of time when they are not active.

At time of fee renewals sellers can switch between store categories i.e upgrade or downgrade as they wish.

All sellers irrespective of level of store for a small fee can:

have their item appear (randomly from all such designated items) on the homepage. Fee currently 2p per item.

place "WANTED ADS" on the site. Fee currently 20p per ad.
